Brown Books Publishing Group

Relationship publishing™ didn’t exist before Milli Brown founded Brown Books Publishing Group in 1994 with one primary goal in mind — give writers a viable alternative to the few choices available to them. When Milli entered the world of book publishing, 17 years ago, she quickly discovered a fundamental flaw in the rules of engagement for authors working with traditional publishers in that a publishing deal meant the author relinquished his or her creative rights along with a huge chunk of the profit.
Milli’s bold vision for a new era in publishing™ where authors and publishers share a mutually respectful and beneficial relationship is now a reality. Today at Brown Books, authors gain the best of both worlds by taking advantage of over seventeen years of publishing expertise while retaining complete control over their projects and enjoying 100% of the profits from their book sales.
Brown Books publishes more than one hundred titles a year, many through its CEO Division, which has enabled such notable CEO authors such as Comer Cottrell, Bill Bartmann, Paul Spiegelman, Dave Brennan and Ebby Halliday to promote their business, tell their corporate story and showcase personal pursuits and passions.
