Sunny Morris

Sunny Morris, president and founder of Core24 Inc., has a passion for sales and marketing that dates back to when she was a little Italian girl, growing up in the Northeast. At the age of nine, Sunny had the gift to recognize a unique sales and marketing opportunity when she saw one. Her father, a union electrician, perfected the family’s legendary spaghetti.

Being the entrepreneurial force that she was, she begged her dad to jar his famous sauce and sell it. In her mind, it was so clear and simple: he had something people wanted. He was destined to be the King of Marinara!

While her father’s pasta sauce empire didn’t materialize, Sunny’s preoccupation with sales, marketing, and entrepreneurship did. And thank goodness, because today we have Core24.

Sunny began her career at Epsilon, one of the leading customer relationship marketing agencies in the United States, and managed a variety of Fortune 500 accounts that included Macy’s, Prudential Bank, GTE, and Sam’s Club.

Sunny then went on to join the world-class sales team with internationally-renowned Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines (RCCL). During her time with RCCL, she reenergized a territory ranked 86th nationwide and moved it up to seventh – and she did it in less than two years.

Her next step was leading the sales efforts for a brand new magazine called DCEO, a D Magazine Partners publication. With nothing but a printout of the proposed magazine cover in her hand and a ton of enthusiasm in her heart, Sunny set out to put DCEO in the hands of the top C-level executives in the city. Quarter after quarter Sunny trampled her sales goals, helping to craft DCEO into one of the most respected and well-read business publications in the Metroplex.

Through her contacts at DCEO, Sunny became a trusted advisor and business partner to her clients. Her reputation as likeable, dependable, and honest helped her gain insight and knowledge into the Dallas business community. She excelled at providing to her clients with referrals and recommendations for building their businesses.  And then an idea hit her: there was a need for a trusted source to pair professional services providers with companies in need of reaching specific business goals. It was a golden opportunity to make a difference in the Dallas business landscape.
And so, Core24 was created.
